Manufacturing steel uses up valuable natural resources (ore, water, etc.), while increasing greenhouse gases and atmospheric pollution. In keeping with our concern for the environment, we have decided to take measures to reduce harm to the environment and we have developed products that, to the degree possible, apply the principles of sustainable development.
Our signage system consists primarily of three components: A steel component that anchors the structure in the soil, a steel post, and aluminum pin with designed-in breakability connecting the post to the anchor. Using this kind of system delivers a number of environmental advantages:
- If the structure is struck, the pin yields while attenuating the impact, which means that the post and anchor can be recovered in most cases.
- Should the post get damaged, a significant portion of it can be reused.
- The structure can be easily repaired in five minutes because only the pin needs to be changed, which also limits the pollution emitted by repair vehicles.
